Although perhaps initially confusing, each loconotive has been cross referenced in a number of ways. You can choose to list locomotives by their builder, by their wheel type designation (4-4-0 for example) of if you are knowledgable about the C.P.R. system of locomtive designations you may choose that category and get a listing of locomotives that way. The locomotives are also listed numerically which is the way most people are used to looking them up.

IF you would like to just look at locomotive photos, we have also categorized the images so that if you look up "locomotive gallery" thumbnails of all the locomotive photos will be presented Clicking on the thumbnail will bring you to the image page where a larger photo is available along with a description of the image.
