Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 528 "Champlain"

Built by North British Locomotive Company at Glasgow. Scotland in November 1903.

Built as CPR No. 528, it was first loaned and then transferred to the DAR in 1937 and was given the name "Champlain", previously used by No. 520. No. 528 was scrapped in May 1947.

Name Origin: Samuel Champlain, famous explorer and one of the founders of Acadia in 1604.
