Train No. 98

1911 - 1951, Yarmouth to Halifax Morning First Class Passenger Service / Mail Express

Complementary service provided by Train No. 95

Date range is subject to change as more yearly schedules become available.

Daily except Sunday, leaves Yarmouth around 8:00 a.m. and arrives in Halifax around 6:00 p.m.

Generally through the years this train was equipped with a mail car or express baggage, 1st class coaches and a smoking/observation car.

It appears that it was common practice to change engines at Kentville.

Specific times and equipment for specific years can be found by consulting our Time Tables page.
