VIA Rail Budd Rail Diesel Car RDC-1 No. 6138.
Built 7/1956 as an RDC-2 CPR No. 9109
Budd Serial number ????
In April 1975 RDC-2 CPR No. 9109 was converted at the Angus Shops to an RDC-5 and renumbered CPR No. 9309. In September 1978 it was sold to VIA Rail and renumbered to VIA No. 9309. In June of 1981 it was converted to an RDC-1 at the CN shop in Pointe St. Charles in Montreal and renumbered to VIA No. 6138. In 1999 it was sold to Farmrail System.
Photographic evidence indicates this unit was in D.A.R. service in 1989.
