SS Alpha
SS Alpha, 211 tons, was put into service on the Yarmouth - Boston route in 1884 by Samuel Killam of Yarmouth. In 1885 the Yarmouth Steamship Company bought and operated this vessel. By the time the DAR took over the Yarmouth Steamship Company in 1901 SS Alpha was condemned from service and tied up at Yarmouth.
