Summary
The Kentville Roundhouse and the Kentville Machine Shop looking east with the tender of Locomtive No. 36 on the right, DAR steam Shovel 850 at centre and the DAR blacksmith shop on the left, photographed by Kentville electrician Percy Trefry, circa 1915. Locomotive 36 dates the photograph to the range between the locomotive’s arrival in 1911 and its scrapping in 1919. The roundhouse appears as it did before it burned in July 1915, further narrowing the photo to between 1911 and July 1915.
