Dominion Atlantic Railway Van No. 436994.
This wooden van was built by the CPR in 1941.[1] It served on the DAR until the late 1970s. The van was rebuilt in Montreal after it left the DAR and continued in use on the CPR until the late 1980s when it was given to an executive of Canadian Tire as a thank you for a contract with CPR. It sat on the property of the executive at Belmore, Ontario beign used as a cottage until 1994[2] when it was acquired by the recently formed Guelph Historical Railway Association. It has been restored and is featured in public events in Guelph from time to time.[3]
