Dominion Atlantic Railway Passenger Van No. 97.
A converted ex-baggage car (1), it was originally Baggage Car No. 55, built in 1897 at Rhodes Curry in Amherst, a sister car to baggage cars No. 54 and No. 56. It was converted to a van and re-numbered 97 in December 1911.(2) No. 97 was often used on the rear end of Train No. 99 & Train No. 100, night train with sleeper, coach or freight cars.
