From DARwiki
CPR1815
Built by MLW as RS-18 #8742 (1957). Rebuilt by CP as RS18u, chop-nosed and renumbered to #1815 (1983). Sold to Ottawa Central (10/16/1998). Acquired by CN through merger (11/2008). Sold to American Steel & Trading LLC for removal of parts and scrapping (1/2010).
Unit was assigned to the DAR for ballast train work from October 21 to November 23, 1985. By using one RS18u on heavy ballast trains, this would allow two SW1200RS units to be available for other work.[1]
