436994 is preserved in the Guelph Historical Railway Association collection.
Peter Bishop also comments "That's the west end of the mechanical shop in Kentville. The tank on top of the roof... ...stored the sand after it was dried and sent up... ...by air. I Remember going up the ladder and beating the pipe with a hammer because it was clogged quite a ways up."
This is an interesting and apparently rare shot of not only the van, but of the sanding tower on the roof of the car shop.
