Dominion Atlantic Railway Van No. 436994.
This standard CPR van served on the DAR until the late 1970s. It was rebuilt in Montreal after it left the DAR and continued in use on the CPR until the late 1980s when it was given to an executive of Canadian Tire as a thank you for a contract with CPR. It sat on the property of the executive before being acquired by the recently formed Guelph Historical Railway Association in the mid 1990s. It has been restored and is featured in public events in Guelph from time to time.[1]
