Berwick Station

Berwick's first station was a simple 40' x 22' structure, one of the medium sized stations built by the Windsor and Annapolis Railway in 1869.^[1] Construction of a new 80 foot x 22 foot station was announced in March 1888Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag as a medium-sized Windsor & Annapolis gothic-window-style station, containing a waiting room and freight room separated by the agent's office and operator's bay. The freight room was later extended to the west. The station was demolished about 1974 and replaced several years later by a simple VIA Rail shelter which served until the end of passenger service in 1990. A carefully researched model of the Berwick Station made by Ric Hamilton may be seen today at the Apple Capital Museum in Berwick.
