Dominion Atlantic Railway Coach No. 625
Andrew Blackburn recounts "From what I have found out is 2 dining cars were deployed to the DAR in the late Second World War years. One being the Bear River and the other Blomidon. These cars were rebuilt in 1943 and 1944 from buffet observation cars. The traffic on the line at this time must have warranted the full diners. These cars were scrapped in 1956 so they likely did not spend much time on the DAR . Maybe a few years after the war. These were a 40 seat dining car."
