In the book by [[Gary W. Ness]], ''[[The Dominion Atlantic Railway: 1894-1994]]'', page 64  this photograph is identified as No. 2511 pulling the dynamometer car No. 62 in Windsor in 1940, likely during a test of the firing quality of DAR's locomotive coal.
  
 
Jim O'Donnell in an email on March 13, 2001 reports: I have a copy of this photo, photographer unknown, which says Truro, 1957. Looks right, but there is not enough background to say for sure.

No.2511 & Dynamometer Car in Windsor or Truro.

In the book by Gary W. Ness, The Dominion Atlantic Railway: 1894-1994, page 64 this photograph is identified as No. 2511 pulling the dynamometer car No. 62 in Windsor in 1940, likely during a test of the firing quality of DAR's locomotive coal.
