Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 22 "Cerese"

Wheel Arrangement: 4-4-0

Built by Portland Works in August 1879.

  • Builder No. 355
  • 16" x 24" cylinders
  • 60" drivers.

Built as Western Counties Railway locomotive No. 7 "W.R. Moody", it briefly became Windsor and Annapolis Railway No. 19(1) before becoming DAR No. 22 "Cerese" in 1894.

It was scrapped sometime before 1920.

Name Origin: Unknown, possibly Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture.
