Built by Portland Locomotive Works, 1875

  • 16" x 24" cylinders
  • 60” drivers

The Jim O'Donnell and Charles McBride Rosters show this locomotive began as Windsor and Annapolis Railway locomotive No. 8 "Benedict". However the McQuinn and Stephens Collection and J.B. King record that it was Windsor and Annapolis No. 5 "Grand Pre" before 1893 and before 1875 it was Intercolonial Railway No. 35.
