Kentville Paint / Repair Shop

It was replaced in 1928 with a new building to the west between the station and the Car Shop, with the frame being erected in May 1928[1] It was covered sometime in the 1930s with green "insulbrick" shingles, and later became known at the Repair Shop. It survived until the last years of the Kentville Railyard and was demolished in the early 1990s. Just to the north of the repair shop was a set of tracks used for many years as the Kentville Scrap Line, where retired rolling stock awaited scraping.
