Merry Christmas to all my DAR mates out there. I hope you have a good holiday and have some fun railway time in the year ahead. Here is a lovely Christmas DAR photo, courtesy Graham McBride. It was taken by his father Charles McBride 78 years ago today on December 23, 1938 as Train No. 98 rockets through the snow near Digby with a double header of locomotives 556 and 547 hauling Christmas gifts and holiday travelers as the snow curtains on the cabs flap in the wind.
