The Randall House Museum in Wolfville has put together an innovative summer program focusing on the arrival and impact of the railway in the Annapolis Valley. They've done an exhibit (some beautiful stuff from Gary Ness's collection) at the museum and put together a great program of talks, music, a train show and classic railway films: http://wolfvillehs.ednet.ns.ca/?page_id=1263
I dropped off some artifacts this Saturday for the opening - Graham McBride's No. 32 locomotive number plate and my G Scale Apple boxcar. The exhibit isn't huge but has some great stuff.
Nice to see the valley's railway legacy being explored in interesting ways.
