I was searching google for South Maitland and came across an image of the South Maitland Station which we didn't have though the water mark on the image was for The Chronicle Herald. You can buy their images starting at 15$ for 5x7 46$ for 20x24.
They have a few other stations from around NS. (Bridgetown, Upper Musquodoboit, Elmsdale, Oxford), they also have a nice shot of the train going though Windsor which I might just buy because it's a shot of it going though town. Link is below, along with some other images that I found image only. Most of the images do have a description though you'll have to re-search for them to get that information.

Re: The Chronicle Herald Shop
Great finds.
I can elaborate on a few photos:
http://shop.thechronicleherald.ca/asset ... ric002.png This photo shows the Albion and the Sampson in a B&O gondola. They have probably arrived back in NS from the B&O museum in Baltimore. I think this happened in the 1930s, but Dan might have a better idea. I believe they were displayed in front of the NS hotel next to the CN station in Halifax before going to New Glasgow. I'm not convinced that the location is Cape Breton. I'm thinking Moncton.
http://shop.thechronicleherald.ca/asset ... ric020.png This is is CN's museum train of the 1950s, which had a number of vintage wooden carriages painted yellow. The locomotive and two of the passenger cars are at the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa.
http://shop.thechronicleherald.ca/asset ... /dump3.png This photo is identified as "dump." The old Halifax dump was in the north end. Could this be looking towards Africville?

Re: The Chronicle Herald Shop
This is a very nice find!
That big questions that I didn't really have time to go into on the site are:
Is a digital image available?
Can we post the digital images (I doubt it).
