My name is Duane Duff. I and my family have recently moved to Annapolis County from Surrey, BC. I was a teacher-librarian in Alberta for 25 years. I have also taught in Manitoba, Ontario, and Missouri. We have also lived in Texas, northern Mexico, and southern Mexico before moving to British Columbia. In Dallas, Texas, I was a tour guide for school groups at the former Age of Steam Rairoad Museum I was also outreach coordinator. Currently, I and our son Sean are on the board of the Memory Lane Railway Museum, in Middleton. I go there on Thursday afternoons to help a bit with the visitors. Before I say anything further, I want to be sure that my entry has gone through. I hope that someone who seees this will respond. I have had a problem with setting up this account.

So Duane. You made it! Glad to see you`re on. Lots to read here about the museum and especially about the D.A.R. and all the things we wonder about and discuss.

If you hadn`t noticed there`s a whole bunch of rooms (forums) here to post specific subject matter. This forum is just for chatting up the crew and discussion on the D.A.R. in general.

Would love to see you post a few items in the Work section on the Middleton Museum like what`s happening over there and what we might be able to help you out.

Everybody here is very helpful so sing out if you have any doubts.
