Looking fine and showing up all over Canada so I consider myself lucky to have gotten a shot like this! Nice to see they're parading her all around for everyone to get a glimpse.
EMD GP38-2, CP No. 3084 sporting the old CPR colours at East Edmonton just north of the Suncor refinery on August 8, 2013.
The GP-38-2 is one of two painted this way, it's used for the most part on the "Royal Canadian Express" along with a CPR Hudson and maroon passenger train. The train is used for CP executives as an inspection train but also used as a excursion through the Rockies for rich people. While not on the train(s), the 38s are pooled out of Calgary like any other freight unit... or that's what I understand!
