Matt had informed me about this and when I was in Window today, you were able to see the old Piers of where the old train and car bridges where. Currently with the lake drained (assuming currently tidal) your able to see them, and if you have some rubber boats you could walk right up to most of them.
I'll post some pictures on the Wiki or here once I get them off Margaret's camera.

Re: Old Windsor Train Bridge Piers
So are these the piers for the old "Wicker Basket" bridge or perhaps the old covered road bridge?

Re: Old Windsor Train Bridge Piers
The Piers could be for both train bridges as they are close enough to each other and looking at this photo here http://www.dardpi.ca/wiki/index.php?tit ... :R-107.jpg Would be nice to get closer look at the piers if its still possible but I'd never be allowed to take the camera out into the mud flats. Maybe if I had a camera with a telephoto lenses.

Looking at it again, yea, it would have to be the "new" bridge and the old Wicker Basket bridge piers. No other pair was that close.

Re: Old Windsor Train Bridge Piers
From what I observed, the peirs farthest from Sam's photo location were for the bridge that came down in 1970. The ROW, which runs from Rte. 1 (now identifed as a "boat launch") to the west side of the river, aligns with the peirs. From this I concluded that the peirs closest to the photographer were for a previous bridge.
