Long lost Josephine
The pictures say it all. Andrew Blackburn would love to know more about this recent acquisition of his. Was anyone even aware that this existed? Apparently there's also a boxcar but the seller won't part with it.

Re: Long lost Josephine
Great find! Thank you for sharing Andrew and Matt.
I think I once saw a clipping at the Kings County Museum of a float in the Apple Blossom Festival with the two coaches, the boxcar, and the locomotive No 32 along with a station or watertower.
The undercarriage detail is fascinating. I wonder what the thread spool on one of the axles was for?

Andrew said it was for a belt to drive a generator, which I can't see but perhaps is inside? So the clipping does show the boxcar. The other pieces would be interesting to know where they went. Perhaps Andrew can find that out for us too when he revisits the fellow who had the coach.

I believe the generator is the black object with the pulley at the left in this cropped extract. The drive belt is missing.

Re: Long lost Josephine
I wonder what the generator is for and how it was driven. Those individually made wheels don't look like they were really made to work. Or did they?
