Paul Bushnell and I will be setting up a train display in Kingsport this Saturday June 25 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm as partof Kingsport Gala Days. We will be running some G Scale DAR and displaying DAR HO rolling stock, some other classic Canadian consists along with a DAR photo display. We'll be in the Kingsport Community Centre, the old Lloyd General Store which sits rights beside the line of the DAR's old Cornwallis Valley Railway branch to the Kingsport wharf.

Here is some pictures. The rain cut down the crowds this year but we got a steady stream of people dropping by. Great to yarns from the old timers who went to school in Kentville from Kingsport and introduce youngsters the to secrets of steam trains.

Paul Bushnell works at our DAR display. Paul has some great DAR CPR HO trains. He is also working on a HO Kingsport diorama. The little diorama in the foreground is the Kingsport drive-in.

Nice G scale mixed there Dan. Looks quite handsome! I'm also loving the HO DAR stuff and the Berwick station in the photo too.

Thanks for the pictures. Betcha you did trigger some great old memories for a few old-timers and get the interest of the kids too.

Terrific setup Dan. I was born in Kentville, spent summers at Kingsport. Remember the many times watching the train come in from Kentville and taking the train to Kentville for the day.
Great memories :D
