Chris Roberts

Chris has a keen interest in several railway topics and in trains at scales from 1:1 to 1:220. His interest in the DAR stems from time spent on the front verandah of his Grandparents' home in Windsor, watching the gypsum trains crawl along the old line through town, crossing streets protected by wig-wag signals. Later, while living in Windsor, he was a regular passenger to Halifax on the Dayliner and could often be found in the yard trying to figure out how to photograph something unique among endless shots of SW1200RSs.

Chris is a retired civil engineer who spent his career working in the field of environmental monitoring and assessment.
