What a fun image! My bet this is Coach 20, 21, 22 or 23 with the number cut off. These cars were short, 1860s, 1870s cars with the board and batten sides of that period. However I don't think any photos of them have surfaced thus far.

It's a very old unit alright. It doesn't look however like the other photo of No. 2 that we have. I definitely think you have something on it being a 20s series but I wouldn't jump yet until we perhaps find some photographic evidence to support it. I have asked Jeff Pinchbeck as well to look at them and see if he can help identify them. --Stem 19:25, 30 September 2009 (MDT)
