Original Color Slide, 8/7/73, Location of old Dominion Atlantic station, Windsor, NS.

This is a very interesting photo because it shows the new station in 1973 and the old freight shed still intact. As we know, it was demolished the year after this photo was taken. One can also realize that on the left side of the large puddle is the site of the previous station, now covered over by the approach road bed to the rail line overpass. In background can be seen, left to right, the B. Sexton Apple Warehouse; the L. A. Armstrong Apple Warehouse and the Avon River Causeway in background.
