The Kentville Station and Freight Shed, photographed by A.L. Hardy. The fresh paint finish indicates it was taken soon after the station's 1904 expansion. A glimpse of the small Conrnwallis Valley Railway station can be seen north of the platform in the upper photograph. The image is taken from page 54 of A. L. Hardy's photo booklet The Evangeline Land, circa 1905, from the collection of the Nova Scotia Legislative Library.
