Postcard One version of a popular hand-colured postcard showing the Kentville Station sometime between 1904 when the station was enlarged, and the postcard publication date of August 1906/January 1907, as indicated by the publication number 101,904 of Valentines and Son[1], spotted in the lower right corner by Kings County Museum volunteer Chris Gertridge.[2] Also shown is the Kentville Freight Shed on the left and the Kentville Car Shop at centre in the distance. Note also the coach parked on the passenger spur for the Cornwallis Valley Railway located directly behind the station, allowing passengers to easily change trains at Kentville for the Kingsport line.[3]
