The Kentville Railyard viewed after RDC Train No. 2 arrived, photographed by Paul Enenbach, May 26, 1977. The yard has just been cleaned out by the Halifax bound freight, Train No. 50. Visible left to right are: south corner of the Kentville Roundhouse, CPR Van 437345, the DAR scrap line, snow plows, Car Shop, Coaling Tower, Repair Shop, the Kentville Station in the distance and the Kentville Track Scale.
Description by Paul Enebach: Kentville, Nova Scotia, 26 May '77
The yard at this headquarters and division point for Dominion Atlantic Railway seemed to contain a lot of empty tracks (the freight had just departed for Halifax) but also a complete collection of equipment. The two storey dark red depot and offices were around the far curve to the right.[1]
