Original file (3,500 × 1,399 pixels, file size: 2.45 MB, MIME type: image/jpeg)
Kent Foods juice plant, formerly the Canning Fruit Company warehouse, at Canning photographed by Gerald Ells, 1947, looking west at the North Avenue level crossing, marked by an interesting cross buck post. A Canadian Pacific Fowler box car is spotted on the warehouse siding. The truck is a 1944 Ford. The structure on the hill received and stored apples for the plant. Note the apple chute with two men and a boy checking it out.[1]
