Summary
The new Kentville Car Shop built to replace the car shop destroyed in the Oct. 21, 1937 fire. The photo was printed by Reid Studio, Windsor in 1938 and was probably shot soon after the car shop reopened in late January 1938.[1] The mast and boom on the left are likely the DAR's bucket loader for coaling locomotives used before the coaling tower was built in 1943.
