DAR No. 1046 running an eastbound short five car freight stops at Grand Pre Station on a fine sunny day, specifically Monday, October 8, 1956. If you look at the lower left, one can see one of the crew rummaging in the base of the water tower. This picture was taken by my father, Bob MacLean of Halifax, who was at the time courting my future mother, Gwen, who grew up in Grand Pre. (Dave MacLean)
