All we know is that this is the Duke of Connaught at Kentville in 1915. The Duke was actually Prince Arthur and between 1911 and 1916, he served as Canada's Governor General. The reason he is in Kentville is because he was very involved in raising and training Canada's 2nd expeditionary force in WWI at Camp Aldershot. Additional shots were also taken at Wolfville. This much we do know about the Duke, but we know nothing about this train.
