DAR station, Truro NS, 1974.

The DAR's Truro to Windsor Junction line hosted the last mixed train, which a friend and me rode in the winter of 1974.
The station was a modern structure and Google maps show it is still there. Part of the line is now the Cobequid Trail.
The reason for the mixed train operation was the lack of a highway crossing of a tidal inlet. Within a year or so, the mixed was gone after a highway bridge was completed.
