One of the only shots of the SW 1200's in the CP script paint.

No. 8136 lashed to No. 8135 behind or beside the DAR station at Truro on layover, possibly a Sunday. The building at the top of the picture is the Truro Hospital.

This was in Truro early 1970's but before the train began to run at night after April 28, 1975. The DAR ran the train to Truro at night to better utilize there power in the day in the Valley and it would help run off the passenger business so the mixed passenger car would be removed. The trains No.21 & 22 would leave Windsor at 9:00 pm and arrive in Truro around 11:30 pm departing from Truro 1 hr later to go back to Windsor.

Don Lightbody was a member of our model railway group in Truro and lived in town. His father worked for the ICR first and then the CNR.
