Map of Apple Warehouse Locations on the DAR, circa 1931, published in the book Some Economic Aspects of the Apple Industry in Nova Scotia by Willard Longley. A circled number at each station indicates the number of apple warehouses located there. (A few extra warehouses were built later in the 1930s, but the map essentially captures the apple shipping complex at its peak.) One error is the branchline from Middleton to Port Wade which is labelled as DAR. It was actually run by the CNR.
