The Yarmouth County Museum website has the following caption for this photograph:
Fleet of the Yarmouth Steamship Company, Limited at Baker Wharf, Summer 1900. Steamers shown (left to right) S. S. Yarmouth, S. S. Boston, S. S. City of Saint John, S. S. Alpha (in dock (sic) ), and the S. S. City of Monticello (outside). [1]

The S. S. City of Monticello was acquired by the YSS Co. in March 1899 and sank off Yarmouth on November 10, 1900 with the loss of thirty-six persons. [2] The remaining four vessels passed to the DAR Steamship Line when they acquired the assets of the YSS Co. in the summer of 1901.[3]

Photograph credited to Enos R Parker and dated 1900[4]. His older brother and former Partner, George F.Parker, went on to become the DAR New England Travelling Passenger and Freight Agent c. 1901 - 1912.[5]
