This is a collection of 20 photographs of DAR steam and diesel locomotives on the western end of the line in the 1940s and 1950s as well as a rare pair of images of the serious RDC collision of Dayliner 9058. The majority of the photographs show engineers working in the Yarmouth area and were developed and printed in Yarmouth, but it also includes other photographs that appeared to have been given or traded with railway employees in Kentville and Digby, including one photograph from Charles McBride Collection in Digby. The vendor of the photos, Double C Antiques, had this to say about the origins:
"The photos were bought by a picker friend of mine in New Brunswick at a moving sale, they came from a family member who was a train engineer who passed away."
The photographs were listed on eBay in June 22, 2021 and jointly purchased by Jeff Keddy and Dan Conlin.
