Dominion Atlantic Railway Gondolas

Most of the gondolas on the DAR were captive CPR gondolas in gypsum service although they could be found from time to time serving other industries as in-transit cars. Gypsum gondolas were at first CPR "Big Otis" wooded sided cars. See Gondola 351091 for a detailed example.

The Big Otis gondolas were replaced in 1963 with a fleet of steel gypsum gondolas, unique to the DAR: the 352900 series (Nos. 352924-3521999). They remained in service until the line was shut down in 2011.

This category also includes all the CPR gondolas that were observed on the DAR system no matter where they came from.
