Charles F. McBride was the manager of the DAR's Digby Wharf and agent for DAR and CPR steamships in the 1930s and 40s. He was also an amateur photographer and collected DAR facts and documents. He compiled a roster of DAR locomotives based on 1930s records and memories of older DAR men.
