- Name Origin: Queen Mab is queen of the fairies in William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", a play which supplied the name of several W & A locomotives inherited byt he DAR.
Began as Atlanta Railroad, named "Westpointe" and "LaGrange"
Sold to Fredericton Branch Railway, named "L.A. Wilmot"
Sold to the Cornwallis Valley Railway as No. 1 in 1888
Became Windsor & Annapolis Railway No. 13 in 1890
Became DAR No. 1 in 1893
