SS Prince Albert
From DARwiki
SS Prince Albert
Prince Albert was a small coastal steamer which carried passengers and freight connecting to DAR lines at Kingsport, Wolfville and to the Canadian National at Parrsboro, the same route later served by the MV Kipawo. Continuing the DAR steamer tradition of "Prince" names, she was the smallest of the DAR steamers but still bore a large brass DAR crest on her bows. She was replaced by the Kipawo in 1927 as the DAR needed a vessel which could serve the growing automobile traffic.
