Locomotive No. 2501 headed west towards Yarmouth while loading passengers at the Kentville Station in Kentville on August 1, 1958. This is a sister shot to DAR2501a.jpg. On the left side is van No. 435797. This is a sister photo to B&W photo Image:DAR2501c.jpg and colour slide Image:DAR2501a.jpg in which the description indicates that ""No. 2501 4-6-2 with combine and steel coach coupling on to Dayliner at Kentville preparing to leave for Yarmouth on July 31, 1958."" It is interesting to note that because of the mail car, this is obviously going to Yarmouth yet passenger traffic today must be light with only 2 other cars behind the mail car.
