Located in the west end of Digby by Racquette Cove, the wye allowed locomotives and cars to be turned. The wye was built by the DAR in 1895 and replaced the need for trains to go to Weymouth and turn. In earlier decades, locomotives in Digby had been turned on a small turntable by the Digby Station built by the Western County Railway.
