Summary

A hand-coloured postcard showing the eastbound Flying Bluenose train leaving Hantsport crossing the Halfway River Bridge and causeway. The passenger car behind the baggage car appears numbered No.27 "IRIS" and the baggage car could quite easily be No. 46. A Harold Jenkins copy of this post card contains a note that the locomotive is DAR No. 24.[1] This card is postmarked July 1911. The serial number 105624JV indicates the post card was published between January and December 1911.[2]
