Fieldwood Heritage Society
The Fieldwood Heritage Society was organized in 1988 created as a society in 1989 to preserved the heritage of Canning and surrounding communities. It takes the name of the schooner Fieldwood, built at Canning in 1920, the last large vessel built in Canning.[1] Leon Barron, a community DAR historian was a longtime member.
Use of Contributed Material
The DAR DPI has permission from the museum curator to display images that originated from the Kings Historical Society web site.
