Dominion Atlantic Railway Steam Locomotive No. 387 "Cornwallis"
Wheel Arrangement: 4-6-0
Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in September 1897.
- Builder No. 15479
- 19" x 24" cylinders
- 63" drivers.
- CPR Class: D4f
It was built as a Canadian Pacific Locomotive No. 387 and transferred to the DAR in 1923. It was assigned DAR No. 17 but the number was not applied.(1) It was scrapped at Kentville in August 1925.(2)
Name Origin: Edward Cornwallis, English general and governor who founded Halifax in 1749.
