While watching the pilot truck progression which is interesting in itself, it occurred to me that the possibility exists that based on the 1924 photo where No. 32 is freshly painted outside the Angus shops that the engine was probably overhauled in Montreal and sent back to the DAR as a CPR unti where in the next photo the DAR applied all the appropriate accoutrements to put it back to a typical DAR unit. Sounds plausible?
